Welcome to STARS! Michael comes to STARS following an esteemed career of professional achievements, most recently having served as Director of Capacity Building for the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, where he was responsible for the development and delivery of programs that strengthen a nonprofit’s ability to effectively fulfill its mission both now, and in the future. Prior to transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Michael honed his talents while an executive with American Express, where he held a variety of positions in account development, contract negotiation, and marketing for the company’s B2B divisions in New York and Phoenix. Michael, what emotion comes to mind when you think of STARS? Joy. Having an office at the Osborn Campus is truly special; the opportunity, every day, to see the faces and the work of the participants ensures I understand exactly why we do what we do.
