| La Grande Orange's (LGO) Blair Andersen (Regional Restaurant Manager) and Josh Thompson (Bakery Manager) have created a very supportive atmosphere for our three participants to thrive in their new employment positions carved out for them via STARS Employment First Initiative. Blair and Josh have taken the time to get to know each one of the participants and is working with the Job Placement Coaches (JPC’s) to gather insight on the best ways to create a successful environment. Because of the genuine and caring support, all three participants state that they love their job and have become a reliable part of the LGO team! | |
| "Our family has been receiving in-home services for our daughter through HCBS for the past several months. This attendant care has given us some much needed relief for 3 evenings per week. They have also provided us with respite care allowing us to get away for a few days. Their Direct Support Providers are very well screened and trained and we feel confident having them care for our daughter in our home. This extra support has been very beneficial to our family."
